Belfast's Airports Have Good Public Transport Links to City Centre
George Best Belfast City Airport is located in the east of the city. Suburban trains to Bangor stop regularly at the nearby Sydenham Railway Halt. There are frequent bus departures (Metro 600) from the terminal to the Europa Buscentre in the city centre, a major hub on Northern Ireland's extensive Ulsterbus route network which adjoins Great Victoria Street Railway Station.
This is served by trains travelling to Portadown, Bangor, Derry, the North Coast and Larne.
Belfast International Airport lies 15 miles northwest of the city centre. Arriving passengers can travel to the Europa Buscentre on Ulsterbus Service 300 which departs every 10 minutes at busy times.
Bus number 109A between the nearby town of Antrim and Lisburn just south of Belfast calls at the airport on an hourly basis.
Full details of Ulsterbus, Metro and Northern Ireland Railways services can be obtained from transport operating company Translink.
Belfast Airports Linked to Derry by Airporter Coach
A regular coach service called 'The Airporter' links both airports with the city of Derry. The operators advise anyone wishing to travel on this to book in advance. Bookings can be made on the Airporter website.
Taxis are also available at both airports.
